Chris is the Cosmic Drummer that keeps the beat of Time and Space.
Because there were two Chrises, Chris also represents the dual nature of humanity. The first Chris was the bastard son of Danny and Shirley. (see Geneology) He is the evil Chris who like many a sit-com child starts off as being relatively cute but soon gradually loses some of that cuteness. Many a sit-com adds a new younger and cuter character to the show (e.g. "Sam of Dirr'rent Strokes," "Andrew on "Family Ties," Oliver on the Brady Bunch, and yes even "The Partridge Family" evenutally added Ricky Segall). The ingenious thing that the producers of the Partridg Family did was to just replace the actor with a cuter Chris. This Chris actually took drum lessons so that it would look more realistic when he played the drums on the show. To get in touch with your own dual nature, get a drum set and play for 24 hours straight, say "Chris One" when you use your right hand and "Chris Two" when you use your left hand.

FUN FACT: The word "Christ" is derived from "Chris Partridge."
It's all True. While it was Keith who manifested himself in the form of Jesus Christ when he went solo, he didn't want to get in trouble so he tried to deceive everyone by taking his brother's name and adding a "T" to it. Shirley soon caught on to Keith's scheme and punished him with a stern but much needed crucifixion.

We at the Temple have had no run-ins with either Chris, but we eagerly await his presence at the temple.
