Albuquerque represents Eden, Nirvana, Armegeddon, the Holy Land, TV Land, The Land of Milk and Honey, Ragnorock, Eternal Groovyland, and a state of Enlightenment all in one. It is the goal of all Partridges to be pointed in the Direction of Albuquerque. The song "Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque" may be the single most important song in the entire Partridge catalog. It is the only song that the songwriter admits in the press was based on a real life event (soon on this web site, you will understand more about the Partridges unique relationship with reality. Stay tuned). It is also the one of the few songs in a "Partridge Family" episode to comment directly on the content of the show. And finally, it is the only song in which the singer, i.e. Keith, starts off singing in the first person as himself, but then switches to sing the chorus in the first person of another character that of the lost rag doll runaway. Keith comes down and becomes a human being in order to show us how important it is to be pointed in the direction of Albuquerque.

When we drink Laurie's honey and Keith's milk, we are pointed in the direction of Albuquerque.
We are pointed in the direction of Albuquerque 24 hours a Day.
All roads lead to Albuquerque!
